This is the kind of voice I imagined turtles would have. Kind of like a nerd.
Here’s 17 seconds of a turtle talking while humping.

URLs linking to all personal information – everything – including photos, phone numbers, addresses, employment, etc. of over 100 million Facebook users has been collected and made available to download yesterday (July 28, 2010). Former Symantec employee, security expert Ron Bowes of Skullsecurity, collected and compiled what I’m calling the “Facepage Motherload” via a script he wrote that simply downloads the entire Facebook Directory.
Sounds mighty bloody scary, right, right? Well, I’ll quickly provide a little context and share a wee bit of my always-in-demand tech-perspective (aka “please break that nerd stuff down for me, James”).
First and foremost, this is widely being misreported as a “leak” and sensationalized as a “hack” – neither of which it is. It is completely legal and is not a backdoor into your private info. This download is actually not much different than the Yellow Pages, in that it is simply a collection of already publicly accessible information. It’s not any exciting, potentially building-exploding work of hackers (or “haxx0rz”), or like the Angelina Jolie 90s film Hackers, or like Justin Long the Mac Guy in Live Free or Die Hard). The fact that this isn’t a “hack,” however, doesn’t mean that it is without concern.
What this download does shed light onto is the strange phenomenon (more…)

Hope visitors here in USA enjoyed a fantastic Independence Day this past weekend and those from around the world are having good fortune as well. This therapy must be working…must…stop…positivity.
Here’s another free mp3 download.
Michael Baier play, seq, synth, mix
James Austin Spangle play, samp, seq, synth
Mic_Bearing_and_ESPI-Didje_6-320k-humancarbon.com-eargod.com.mp3
I started with some didgeridoo and synthesizer, then Mike and I zoned out on it fueled by Chinese Cordyceps and Tibetan Goji Berries, then Mike brought it home and put in some serious work space-spazzing on it and mixing this. I still want to scratch some records over it and I have an unfinished alternate drum track too so we may have to put out some sorta didjeridu megamix/e.p. or something. Or not. Or in 3 years or something.
The MP3 is encoded via the “insane uberstandard” at a constant bit rate of 320k …indistinguishable from CD quality. We’ll post FLAC “lossless” quality tracks eventually as well.

TJIII_ft_Tommy_DeSanto-whats_wrong_with_falling-320k-humancarbon.com-eargod.com.mp3
TJ is one of the main HC homies and a true mad scientist after my own heart. His talents are not only in music and the visual arts, but extend into technical realms beyond most magick-wielding shamans’ comprehension.
Fortune has come upon myself (and universe, by proxy) via a stack of some mondo kush tracks sent over from the man also known as Tommy James. It’s free music, trick! I encoded the MP3 via the “insane uberstandard” at a constant bit rate of 320k …indistinguishable from the original CD. We’ll put up FLAC files when the music site opens.
To describe the TJIII track’s sound is difficult but I say it’s lush and dreamy. I think what TJIII and Tommy DeSanto are making is awesome and I can’t really compare it to much out right now. Reminds me of Eno/Fripp and the Music for Airports material somewhat.
More to come.

First off, I think it’s insane that there is a major motion picture based on dudes that made a website. This upcoming film is called The Social Network – it’s real – and it’s really about Facepage founder Zuckerberg, et al. Even stranger to me is that it’s directed by the talented director of Se7en and Fight Club, David Fincher.
Well you have my word that should Humancarbon: The Movie ever be optioned to become certifiable celluloid gold, I will be sure to veto M. Night Shyamalan from having anything to do with it.
Anyway, per Variety, the new actor playing Spider-Man is Andrew Garfield, from the aforementioned ‘fb’ film as well as The Red Riding Trilogy, which sounds like an interesting series of realistic crime horror films. I’ll add them to my film queue, because since this guy’s going to be the new Peter Parker, I’d like to see his portrayal of an investigative reporter that helped win him the webbed role. Then I can take notes on how I can fulfill my life’s goal of being Universal Studio’s golden boy by writing, directing, scoring and starring in a new Diabolik film. No bull, this truly is my life goal, someone at Universal should get at me to reestablish the Diabolik franchise.

HUMANCARBON’s Chief-of-Tell-Us-How-You-Really-Feel aka “No Filter”, the incomparable Nick Clarke, said in his trademark maniacally incensed outburst, in regards to the BP OIL ATROCITY:
“It’s not an F-ing oil SPILL!! It’s an oil Gusher! Oil Geyser! It’s oil bursting out of the frigging earth around the clock!
You don’t have a pipe bust and spew sh!t everywhere 24-7 for months and call it an effing “spill”!! What type of sh!t is that?! A “spill” would be if a tanker had a finite amount of contained liquid released into the ocean. Or really, my beer or milk or somethin’!
Any so-called professional referring to this as a f-ing “spill” oughta be taught about spills: by “spilling” down a flight of steps and “spilling” some blood!”
Nick is Chief-of-Truth in this case: IT’S NOT AN OIL SPILL!
Additionally, like the millions of kids around the world trying hallucinogens and listening to Floyd for their first time, I love MC Escher, so I had to post this. I’d like to find and give credit to the designer responsible for the cover, kindly lemme know if anyone knows.

June 16th is 2Pac’s birthday. R.I.P. It’s times like this that I realize, unfortunately all of my favorite rappers are dead. Actually, many of my favorite artists in general. Damn. Well, rather than get melancholy and lament, let us celebrate life.
Here’s a video I filmed and edited featuring HUMANCARBON’s own GDAN screaming about his jukebox request of Pac’s “Heavy In The Game” at a Sunday Brunch here in Baltimore last summer.
The second video featuring GDan using his trusted megaphone at the Sunday Brunch, as well as the actual track in question “Heavy In The Game”, are featured after the jump…

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. I’m thankful to be able to enjoy the holiday weekend on a (currently British Petroleum-free) beach. Can’t help but think of this BP oil spill disaster quite a bit, but I’m not going to ramble on that now.
I have received the upgrades for the new Macbook Pro including one of the first available units of one of the fastest drives in the world today: the mega-heshtastic world-beater OWC Mercury Extreme Pro SSD. It’s slightly torturous to keep the new Mac and all these goods still sealed in the boxes, but we’re going to do a proper job with an awesome video this week. Most importantly, there are cookouts and lovelies aboot.
The new 13-inch Macbook Pro 2.66 unboxing, disassembly, and upgrade video will be up this week. Now pour it up and put it in the air in memorium of fallen soldiers.

Top o’ the month everyone. Six months in, still growing, just hit a quarter million requests. Lots of good shtuff to come. I’m inspired by this cool video – check it:
Love it. Great execution. I’m quite impressed with the people that took the time to put this together, bravo! I’m into putting a feature together on the artists behind this so hopefully we can connect.
Shouts to all our friends and supporters in the anti-prohibition movement for spreading this around today.

thinks this effectively breaks unnecessarily complex prohibitive policy down to it’s inherently ludicrous and inhumane core.
